The roles of the PTA is to:

• Representing parents: PTAs represent all parents at their school, including parents of children with special needs, English Language Learners, and more. 

• Advocating for students and families: PTAs advocate for the needs of students and families. 

• Updating parents: PTAs keep parents and families informed about the school. 

• Planning activities: PTAs plan and run activities for parents and families.
